Planning A Visit

All guests age 2 and older must have an admission ticket to enter the Center.  

Adults must be accompanied by a child (17 and under) to enter LEGOLAND Discovery Center Columbus. We host exclusive adult nights throughout the year for our Adult Fans of LEGO without children!

All children must be accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times.

To ensure our guests have the best experience possible, we limit the number of visitors that can be in the Center at one time. The best way of ensuring your family's entry is by reserving your tickets online!  

We strive to ensure the best possible guest experience for every visitor regardless of what date and time they visit. 

 

Re-entry to the Center is not permitted once you have exited for the day.  If you're experiencing an issue requiring immediate attention (i.e. diapers left in the car etc.), please contact a manager onsite to help navigate. 

No, visits are not guided.  We encourage families to interact together and explore their imagination and creativity through a world of open play.  The typical visit lasts 2-3 hours, but you are welcome to stay for as long as you wish.

We do not allow outside food or beverages, unless caring for babies or food allergies in children.

LEGOLAND Discovery Center encourages guests to enjoy delicious foods and snacks, as well as coffee beverages and ice cold sodas in our Coffee Shop.

Yes, we are accessible for visitors with varying abilities and wheelchair users.  Our rides do require the guest to transfer to the ride vehicle.  Assistance can be provided by family or guests visiting in the same party. 

In addition, we also provide sensory headphones for check-out at our admissions desk.  Ask one of our hosts for more information upon arrival. 

We do not provide wheelchair or stroller rentals at our attraction.

Yes. We ensure that there are always staff members at LEGOLAND Discovery Center who are trained in first aid.

We are stroller friendly, with family bathrooms including diaper changing facilities.

Guest safety is our priority. 

Kingdom Quest ride requirements: 

All riders must be able to walk onto the ride (no infants in arms).  Riders less than 4’3” (51”) must be accompanied by a responsible rider over 4’ 3” capable of ensuring the rider’s safety.  

 

Merlin's Apprentice requirements:

Minimum height requirement is 3ft; guests under this height requirement are not permitted to ride.  Guests under the height requirement of 4ft are required to be accompanied by a responsible person over 4ft and 18 years or older.  Guests over the height of 4ft may ride unaccompanied.  Weight restrictions may apply and/or guests may be seated away from family to equally disburse weight on the ride. 

 

The Great LEGO® Race VR Experience: 

Riders must be 39" tall or taller and 233lbs or lighter to participate in the VR experience. 

LEGOLAND Discovery Center Columbus is cashless.  We accept multiple forms of digital payment, including Apple Pay and Easton Gift cards.  Please note, we are unable to accept LEGO gift cards.  

Tickets

To ensure our guests have the best experience possible, we have limited the number of visitors that can be in the Center at one time. All guests buying tickets online OR at the door will be required to make a reservation for an entry time.

Advanced Purchase - Best Value and Guaranteed Entry

  • Upon your arrival to the Center, you will enter the line so that we can scan your tickets for entry and provide any items required in your selected ticket package.  Buying ahead online has guaranteed you have a reserved spot to enter for the day!
  • Please note during peak periods such as holidays, spring break and summer there may be a small wait upon entering the line.

Walk-Up Purchase

  • If you purchase tickets at the door, you will be required to reserve the next available time slot. If we are sold out for the time you have arrived and you purchase a ticket for a future time, you will enter the admissions line again at the start of your reserved entry time.
  • Please note, during peak times, we may sell out of walk-up tickets. The only way to guarantee your entry is to purchase your tickets in advance online.

Once inside, stay as long as you like.  The average visit is around two hours.

No, you do not have to have the same ticket type. You are welcome to mix and match tickets within your group. 

Be sure to select the same entrance time on all tickets.

When booking your ticket you will be asked to select a date and time for your arrival. This helps us make your experience more enjoyable by reducing queue times and reducing crowding. Once inside the attraction, you may stay and play as long as you like! 

For the best price, book online at least 24 hours in advance of your visit.

Yes, we do. Simply show your valid military ID at our admissions counter to receive $5 OFF the standard, walk-up admission price. This offer is valid for you and 5 other guests.

You are welcome to purchase your tickets at our Admission Desk prior to your visit date, however, please note that you must show a valid military ID at the Admission Desk at the time of your visit in order to use your Military Saver tickets. Not valid with any other discount, including online tickets and combination tickets.

To ensure our guests have the best experience possible, we limit the number of visitors that can be in the Center at one time. There are 30 minute windows between reservation times to control capacity in the attraction.  This creates a better experience for all our guests! 

During peak times, you may experience a short wait in the line as guests enter the Center.  

Reserving tickets guarantees your entry into the Center as we limit the amount of people allowed in the Center at one time. 

Guests that are more than 15 minutes late for their reservation may experience a longer than usual wait time or may not be able to enter the attraction on our busiest days.  We do our best to accommodate everyone but due to capacity limits we do ask all guests to arrive as close to their reserved entrance time as possible.

If you know in advance you are unable to make your selected entrance time, please reach out to our Guest Services email at Columbus@LEGOLANDDiscoveryCenter.com two business days prior to your visit to see if it's possible to reschedule your entrance time. 

All adults must be accompanied by a child (aged 17 and under) to visit the attraction (with the exception of Adult Fans at special LEGO Night events).  This does not mean one child per adult, simply that there is a child in your group. 

Promotional codes apply to general admission tickets only.

If you're on a Mobile Device

  1. Click 'Buy Now' on our Admission ticket
  2. Once the online ticketing window has popped up (and you see the ticket calendar), select the 'Hamburger Menu' in the top-left corner of the screen
  3. Enter your Promotional Code at the top of the menu where it says 'Enter Promotional Code' and hit the magnifying glass

If you're on a Desktop Computer

  1. Click 'Buy Now' on any of our Admission ticket
  2. Once the online ticketing window pops up (and you see the ticket calendar), select the 'Promotional Code' tab
  3. Enter your Promotional Code and click 'Submit'

 

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PHYSICAL COUPON WILL NEED TO BE TURNED IN UPON ARRIVAL TO THE CENTER UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED ON THE COUPON.  Coupon codes from third party deal sites are not redeemable for promotional tickets. 

If you are unable to use your tickets on the selected date and time, contact us prior to your visit and we will be happy to look into rescheduling them for you.  Our team will work with you to find an available date and time for your ticket type.  Please email all ticket change requests to us at Columbus@LEGOLANDDiscoveryCenter.com.

All requests will be replied to in the order in which they are received.  Rescheduled date cannot exceed 12 months from original scheduled date.  All tickets will expire within 12 months of purchase.

Any tickets unused by the original date and time will become invalid unless the guest has previously requested a ticket change. 

No!  You do not need a reservation for your annual pass visit or to visit using valid gift tickets.  We hold a certain amount of capacity for these types of tickets.  In rare instances, if we are sold out when you arrive, you may be asked to wait briefly for the next available entrance time into the Center.

Health
