1. Flint Children's Museum

2. Longway Planetarium

The largest planetarium in Michigan, guest can experience educational and entertaining shows that explore different science-related topics every day of the week. The planetarium also offers themed in-person shows during special times of the year.

5. For-Mar Nature Preserve & Arboretum

6. Crossroads Village & Huckleberry Railroad

With over 34 historic structure and active townspeople, discover what life was like in the early 1900’s. Ride the Huckleberry railroad on different train engines with replica and original cars. Visitors can also learn a trade form one of the town’s trades people!
7. Johnny Panther Quests

Take your kids up the Flint River on a special Fall Colors boat tour with Johnny Panther Quests. The tours take place from mid-September through mid-October and last for 2-3 hours with several stops along friendly shore lines in Genesee County.
8. Bluebell Beach

For the perfect summer adventure, head to Bluebell Beach on Mott Lake for a refreshing beach day. Along with the sandy shore, there is also a splash pad for kids and numerous shade kites and picnic tables to escape from the sun for a bit. The beach is also connected to the Flint River Bike Path.
